… we went to Italy
Most of the 17 travelers arrived as strangers to each other at the Florence airport on September 17th to join Marty and me for our very first Craftour adventure and concert. We all left 10 days later as a new ‘famiglia’! I truly had no idea how traveling thru this beautiful land with 15 other folk was going to turn out ... and thanks, first of all to our brilliant Craftour Guide Marco Busoni, and thanks to the natural ‘ease’ of the Tuscan people and the beauty of the country...we bonded in a way I could never have imagined.
Yes, music was the common thread for folks that have followed our careers for years and some who have supported us in concerts and theatrical events and.... surprise...even for one couple who were scheduled on a different Tuscan tour that was cancelled and had no idea what they were in for, yet decided to come along and join us, and who departed as new fans and friends! Everyone loved the musicality we brought to the trip as well as just the fun and great good humor we all brought to the adventure.
We love you all for helping us make this first Craftour experience a memory of a lifetime and certainly the highlight concert of 2024.
