In addition to Christine, Nancy Anderson, Leslie Anderson, Bryan Batt, Ron Bohmer, Jeffry Denman, Noah Racey and Emily Skinner bring these shows to life. Visit the Bayview Records site for more info. 02/14/07: Christine has been nominated for a Helen Hayes Award!!!! ~ The Helen Hayes awards recognize outstanding theatre in the Washington D.C. area. *The Light in the Piazza* garnered a total of 5 nominations. Read more on the awards and nominations www.helenhayes.org. 01/11/07: Christine will not perform in Cleveland. ~ Due to Christine's appearance at the Royal Room in the Colony Palm Beach, she will out of "The Light in the Piazza" for the entire Cleveland run. You can catch her instead in Palm Beach, FL. Information is available on the Cabaret Calendar. 10/31/06: Seabrook Cabaret Performance on December 15, 2006 has been cancelled ~ Unfortunately, Christine has had to withdraw from this event, but she hopes that she will be able to make an appearance there at some point in the near future. 9/04/06: Tickets on sale ~ Tickets are now on sale for Christine's appearance at Charleston Heights Arts Center in Las Vegas. Christine is excited to announce that she has been cast in the role of Margaret for the North American Tour of "The Light in the Piazza". This critically acclaimed musical written by Adam Guettel and Craig Lucas won six Tony Awards (Score, Actress (Musical), Scenic Design (Musical), Costume Design (Musical), Lighting Design (Musical) and Orchestrations) along with five Drama Desk awards and two Outer Critics circle awards. It tells the story of a mother and daughter (Margaret and Clara) on vacation in Italy in 1953. As the sheltered Clara develops a romance with a young Italian, Margaret struggles to protect her. As Christine said, "It's rare that art directly reflects your life. Within days of my son moving into his own group home (her 19 year old son, Mac is diagnosed with multiple disabilities) I was negotiating the tour of this show about a mother letting go of her 'special' daughter! It's a real blessing to be able to 'live' my life in performance on a daily basis and work through the complexity of parenting my Mac through Clara."	www.piazzaontour.com
The tour begins on August 1, 2006 with a four-week run in San Francisco, CA at the Orpheum Theatre. For information on the complete tour schedule click on the tour link. Watch the website for updates that will cover Christine while she is on tour. Regrettably, Christine has had to cancel her appearance at Caramoor (August 2,3) and Splendor in the Park in Saratoga Springs (August 18). Keep checking, though, as she will still be in concert several times during the tour.
